Your toddler understands everything… but isn’t talking yet.
Get a personalized plan to help your child start communicating, without guessing what to do.
The situation many parents find themselves in
Your toddler understands so much.
They follow directions.
They point to things they want.
They look to you when they need help.
But when it comes to using words, there are only a few, or none yet.
This can be confusing for parents because understanding language is a very positive sign.
However, many children who understand language well still need help developing the skills that lead to talking.
That’s exactly what we look at during your toddler’s Communication Evaluation.
What happens during your Toddler’s Communication Evaluation
We’ll talk about your concerns and worries and address the questions you have. You’ll help me get to know your child on a deeper level.
I’ll watch how your child communicates with you at home with their favorite toys and activities.
Through guided play activities, I’ll observe your child’s foundational communication skills (how they respond and engage with you)
I’ll also look for your child’s imitation skills (gestures, sounds, and early words)
By the end of your Toddler Communication Evaluation, you will have:
a clear understanding of your child’s current communication skills
a step-by-step plan for what to focus on next
simple strategies you can start using immediately
confidence in how to support your child at home
Why imitation matters.
Children learn to talk by hearing language and then attempting to copy it.
If a child isn’t yet imitating actions, gestures, or sounds, it becomes much harder for them to start using words.
That’s why one of the first things we assess and begin building is imitation during play and daily routines.
What happens after your Toddler Communication Evaluation
This includes:
A clear and personalized roadmap
Custom play and daily routine plans delivered weekly
Ongoing coaching so you know exactly what to do
If it’s a good fit, I’ll walk you through what it would look like to continue working together with ongoing support.
